My journey at BrightWolves began on April 1st 2019, a time when the team was small enough to fit around a single table. I was drawn to the passion and entrepreneurial mindset of the early Wolves, while realizing the exciting potential of building and growing an exceptional company.
Before BrightWolves, my career was rooted in finance and supply chain management. I started at Godiva Chocolate, handling AP, Capex, and Payroll accounting for multiple European countries. I quickly became the back-up for the European Financial Controller, supporting him in annual budget exercises, yearly annual reports, and monthly global consolidation.
From there, I transitioned into a Supply Chain Finance role, reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, with a dotted reporting line to the CFO in the United States. This role took me around the world, leading major supply chain investments and opening new markets. My final two years at Godiva saw me as part of a global team leading the transformation of the global organization. I was responsible for global asset accounting and product costing processes, while serving as the Finance Manager for the EMEA Region.
After Godiva, I spent 2.5 years in the Consulting Department of PWC. I worked on two major projects: kick-starting the digital transformation for the Belgian Federal Justice Department and leading the Finance Transformation of a global finance shared service center for one of the world's largest utilities companies.
In my current role as Director Sustainability, I consider myself fortunate each day to collaborate with fellow Wolves who share the same enthusiasm for driving sustainable transformation both within our organization and for our clients.
Looking back, my career journey has been a blend of challenges, learning, and growth. Each step has shaped me into the professional I am today, and I look forward to continuing this journey at BrightWolves, contributing to our shared vision and goals.
