During my 3-month internship at BrightWolves, I had the opportunity to work on an impactful case and participate in several valuable training sessions. These included "Presenting with Impact," a two-day workshop on "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" of Stephen Covey and a two-day bootcamp with the complete team in Rolley. This combination of hands-on work and professional development significantly contributed to my personal growth.
A Sense of Camaraderie
BrightWolves' commitment to fostering a sense of camaraderie beyond the workplace truly stands out. They organized fun get-togethers, such as a summer event, watching the European Championship together, and Friday after-work gatherings. This blend of professional development and social activities made my internship truly exceptional and enjoyable.
Why I Chose BrightWolves
I chose to do my internship at BrightWolves because after reading the culture book, I was completely convinced that this was the perfect place for my internship, as it resonated with my values and career aspirations. Additionally, BrightWolves stands out from other consulting firms due to its ambitious professionals and non-hierarchical structure, which gives you ownership of your work and allows everyone to make a significant impact.
Teaming up with the Wolves
At the start of my internship, I teamed up with Vincent Govaers (Vigo), to work on components of the business plan for Digit Mint, BrightWolves' LCA software. He entrusted me with various responsibilities, making me feel valuable and appreciated. Whenever I needed help, I could always count on the support of Vigo and the other Wolves. Vigo taught me how to approach challenges in a creative way, and I am truly grateful for that.
By the end of my internship, I had the incredible opportunity to pitch my key insights to a part of the leadership team of BrightWolves. The company’s principle that everyone can make an impact holds true, also for interns.
My Recommendation for Future Interns
If your are considering an internship at BrightWolves, I highly recommend reading BrightWolves' Culture Book and familiarizing yourself with their INSPIRE-values.
Be prepared for an amazing and transformative internship experience!
